Upon relocating to the United States, he served his internship at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine (2003-2004). Furthermore, he conducted his residency at University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine (2004-2007). In addition, he completed his fellowship training in emergency medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine (2007-2010).
